Beautiful place with UNESCO heritage
Sanchi Stupas的点评
点评：This is a UNESCO World heritage site. The site is well maintained by ASI and is very peaceful and serene. Sanchi stupa were built by Ashoka, The Stupa has four gateways which have intricate carvings depicting Gautam Buddha's life. An Archaeological Museum is also there. In the complex sprawling green lawns are all around which are a treat for the eyes . Also the entire complex is on a hill which makes the views more mesmerizing .
In the evening they have a light and sound show.
One must visit Temple 40 which is one of the earliest stone structures in India, also Temple 45 which was the last temple built here, showcasing the evolution of temple architecture over centuries.
Sanchi is very easy to reach from Bhopal by road.
Overall, the Sanchi Stupa is a must-visit destination, which is offering a glimpse into India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage which is there for centuries
