It is worth visiting for historical reason, but don't expect too much

点评：After arriving in União dos Palmares, we were lost in the town because of lack of clear information which way to drive to reach the Quilombo. Even GPS with the location obtained from the governmental site was wrong.
At the Quilombo the experience was nice, but despite the totem with explanations about the place, there isn't any guided tour or any other kind of information, like books, to complement the knowledge, considering that this is such an important place for Brazilian history.
There were 2 souvenir shops basically selling ethical clothes and some very low quality souvenirs.
I think it's worth the visit because of the historical reason ( and to understand how hard it should had been to reach there), but don't expect much from the place.
