点评：Visiting Mt Bromo was one of the highlights of my trip. Waking up in the early hours and heading out in the jeep already felt magical, with convoys of jeeps heading toward various sunrise viewpoints. My driver brought me to Bukit Kingkong, which he said offered the best view—and he was right. When the sun rose, the grandeur of the mountain range was absolutely breathtaking. It’s one of those moments that photos can’t truly capture.
The jeep ride was bumpy but fun, and my driver was very experienced, making sure I was safe and comfortable throughout. What I appreciated most was how smoothly everything was arranged—I didn’t have to worry about logistics or crowd control and still managed to get a clear, unobstructed view despite the crowds.
After sunrise, we drove to the base of Mt Bromo. There were different horse ride options to bring visitors to the stairs leading up to the crater. I chose not to hike up to conserve energy for the Ijen trek, but even standing at the base and gazing up at the mountain was both surreal and humbling.
This was a truly unforgettable experience and a must for anyone visiting East Java.
