Haigh's Chocolates are among the best & most delicious chocolate in Australia

点评：Haigh's Chocolates Factory is located about 2km from Adelaide CBD (154 Greenhill Road, Parkside SA), an easy 30-35min walk through the parklands.
The main difference between Factory Haigh's chocolate shop and any other Haigh's shop in Adelaide or anywhere else is
1 - Factory Tours (the tour lasts about 25-30min, free of charge, but pre-booking is recommended) &
2 - there are packs of "seconds" which sold at a discount (ONLY "seconds" have a discount). The "seconds" are not as expensive as standard Haigh's chocolates, but still far from cheap & have a very limited variety. Haigh's Chocolates are among the best & most delicious chocolate in Australia, in my opinion, but cheap or bargain are the last terms I would apply to this product, even for its "seconds".
The tour is informative and worth going to. Through the large windows, you can see how chocolate is made while the guide gives you the facts. At the beginning and the end of the tour, you are given small samples of dark & milk chocolate to try. By their rules, you are not allowed to take any photos during the tour, which is a pity because there are a lot of posters and display tables containing many interesting details & you do not have time to read them during the tour (when I noted it to the guide I was told to go to the website for information).
All in all, I recommend visiting the place but do not expect any deals.
