Basking Shark Scotland的点评
点评：We were a mother/ daughter pair within 4 different groups; family, couple or solo; 9 adults and 2 children. The Basking Shark had room for all, and folk moved around between the wet and dry spaces comfortably throughout the day.
Had wondered if we'd feel queasy at all, but this was a speedy, comfortable trip with no sea sickness issues. Though the team explained the route and the dolphins that we were likely to see today, I also liked the fact that there were reference sheets on a range of marine flora and fauna that you could dip into if you were interested. The children on the trip referred to them several times.
We spent some time between the north of Mull and Coll following common dolphins and getting some really nice close-up experiences of common dolphins.
Loved the kayaking experience. The water was really clear and, on a fairly cold day, we had the best of both worlds; the opportunity to watch the birds, including a sea eagle and heron, as well as get fairly close to seals and have a super view through the clear water to the fish, sand eels and sea bed below. It's an absolute treasure of seaweeds down there! Dan was knowledgeable and interesting and was tuned into what we wanted to look at. so the pace was relaxed and ours.
Enjoyed the opportunity to stop into Tobermory on the return trip for a coffee as had been aware of not drinking much throughout the day due to the very limited toilet facilities! That was the only tricky part of a super day.
Gear hire was straightforward.
