点评：When you arrive, you’ll need to buy a ticket and join a guided tour. The guide is included, but English explanations are minimal—only if you ask. Otherwise, they don’t really speak English, even though they charge you the foreigner ticket price. The tour itself covers a small area and, honestly, it’s not really worth it; there are better places to visit.
You can take a taxi from Kutaisi to get there, but finding one for the return trip is nearly impossible. So, your best bet is to book a day tour that includes transportation. I had a really hard time getting back. Almost no one speaks English.. One person told me a bus would come in 20 minutes—it didn’t show up even after 45. Others said only tour buses come.
Thankfully, I managed to return with a group of other tourists. If it had just been locals around, I probably would’ve been stuck or had to walk 2.5 hours back. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’ve planned your return in advance and don’t expect too much..not recommend t
