点评:Having just moved into the area went to the park this morning with our dog as it was recommended as a good place to walk. Even before we set foot inside the park we were greeted at one of the entrances by a very large dog turd laying on the footpath. Then as we tried to explore the park we encountered dog turds virtually every few paces so in the end rather than looking around us at what the park has to offer our grandchildren when they stay with us, our eyes were firmly fixed downwards to where we were walking.
Although this sadly is a wider societal problem, made worse in recent times by so many dog walkers gazing into their piece of hand held plastic while the dogs they are supposed to be in control of does whatever it wants while their zombie is oblivious to it. Combine this sad behaviour with those whose attitude to life is the mess they create is always someone else’s problem to clear up then no wonder with dog ownership on the rise so is this selfish problem.
I can’t in over forty years of dog ownership recall ever witnessing such an appalling experience in a public park ( and I lived in inner London) where children should be able to play without running the risk of contracting any one of a long list of serious infections.
Our Council are tasked with clearing up after these thoughtless, lazy people and they will be probably be the same people who moan the loudest about increasing council tax demands when they are announced.
