Not just for the sunset!
坦特拉斯观景台 普吾瓦拉卡州立公园的点评
点评：We have missed this place during our first trip 3 years ago, and I did not realize at the time how cool of a view this spot provides, and also how easy it is to get here.
It's normal, perfectly paved road through a residential area leading all the way to the top - some scenic views along it already. At the top there is a small parking lot - I read everywhere that it's THE place for the sunset, but also that meant struggling with the parking so we visited it during early afternoon hours and we parked without any issues.
There is some history here about the original Macadamia nuts grown on Hawaii (who would have thought Oahu was the first one in Hawaii) that were brought from Australia, I believe, but also some stuff to read about the craters you can see in the area - pretty cool reads, so not just pretty vistas :)
