The temple enshrines a Panchaloha idol of devi Chamundeswari.
The deity is very beautiful and pleasing.
In addition, the temple also has separate shrines for Raktha Chamundi, Bala Chamundi, Sree Dharmashasta, Lord Maha Ganapathy, Bhuvaneswari, Ayiravalli , Nagaraja, Yakshi, and Yogiswaran

The beautiful architecture inside the temple is attractive.
One can perform an offering by the name 'Nada thurappu' for raktha chamundi/Bala chamundi, wherein you can open either one of the two doors.
It is believed that when you open the Rakta Chamundi nada and pray, your deepest desires and wishes would fulfil.
Bala Chamundi nada can be opened for the wellbeing of children and also for people who desires to get married.
There is no idol in the Raktha Chamundi Nada (shrine). Only a wall painting of Devi in Rowdra Bhava (ferocious state) can be seen on the wall of the Nada.
