I started my trip from Mildura, so I chose Warrnambool as my first destination instead of starting from Melbourne—and it turned out to be the perfect choice! I visited Warrnambool during Easter and had an amazing experience. I stayed at Discovery Parks – Warrnambool, which cost around $600 for four days during the busy season. The park was clean, well-located, and comfortable—highly recommended for families or couples.
From there, I explored the Great Ocean Road and visited some incredible landmarks including London Bridge, the Twelve Apostles, and several other scenic viewpoints. Each stop offered breathtaking views and great photo opportunities.
One of the highlights was a 1.5-hour drive from the Twelve Apostles to explore stunning waterfalls like Hopetoun Falls and Triplet Falls, located in the beautiful Great Otway National Park.
Don’t miss the hot bath pool right in front of Discovery Parks—it was a perfect way to relax after a day of sightseeing. Make sure to book in advance if you’re planning to use it!
Overall, a wonderful trip with nature, adventure, and relaxation all in one. Highly recommended!
