Great venue. Staff very professional and friendly, apart from the doorman with the chip.

点评：Watched a band here with my partner on 2nd December. Overall the venue is nice, very quirky. Upon arrival we found the doorman and the staff to be very friendly and pleasant. Great selection of drinks.
Sound quality not the best if I am totally honest but have heard worst.
I must however make a point of saying the doorman who arrived much later. (I assume after the band had finished) as I hadn’t noticed him all night, is the rudest, and nastiest doorman I have ever endured. Quite a small chap with dark hair, probably 30-35. It was hammering down with rain, and as the Uber driver who took us there, advised they couldn’t park up right outside the venue, we planned to order it to pick us up across the road (Thai restaurant) we nipped into a door way to book the Uber to save my phone getting wet. He appeared and in the most abrupt and rudest tone, said ; get out of the fire exit NOW, we moved straight away but my partner and rightly so, said we will move mate but there is no notice to say it is a fire exit and there’s a way of speaking to people, he rudely replied “well I’ve just told you it is, so move!!!
You could tell from his swagger he clearly had a chip on his shoulder and regrettably is the sort of doorman that you don’t want representing your venue. It’s a real shame as we had a wonderful night, and as above the doorman that was on all night was a professional and very different individual.
I have never had to leave a review, base on a doorman’s attitude, but clearly a trouble maker who was set out to make peeps nights a misery.
