Bodega La Azul的点评
点评：This is essentially a roadside dining experience masquerading as fine dining. Out of the three tasing menus we experienced in Mendoza (Azafran, Lagarde, and here), this was the only disappointment.
While some of the early dishes were pleasant, their mains, including steak and pork, were not. Steak was a large chewy piece of meat and the pork was exceptionally dry. Instead of pouring glasses with the dishes and explaining the wine in any depth, they slam half-filled bottles on the table in rapid succession. Perhaps a nice feature for those wishing to get drunk, but not valuable from a tasting perspective.
The outdoor seating areas are nice looking, but you are quite close to the highway with constantly driving cars and the mountains are tiny little things in the distance. If you get stuck inside, you don't really have a view at all - they also clearly have some tables that are reserved for English speaking tourists, and it seemed like most of those were inside. Only place in Argentina where we saw that occur.
There are also emaciated looking dogs roaming around ; we love dogs but keep that in mind.
There have got to be better places to do this kind of lunch in Valle de Uco. Look elsewhere for your own sake.
