2nd experience with Indie Campers London was not bad , we didn’t get the van we wanted but the van worked well and there is no problem till the return
3rd Experience Indie Campers Marseille is very bad. We rented it for 2weeks
Van had problems 2 hours since we picked it up at Marseille depot for 3 days .. we spent our time on the phones and emails , all the garage were busy and closed before Christmas
We paid 118€/ day for unlimited KM
They reimboursed us only 250€
Day 4 changed the van in Bruxelles, problem with gas cylinder and water tank leaks.
we had to stop at IC in Paris to get the right cylinder
Till the last day , no problem with the van. brought back the van to the depot in Marseille , everything was fine.
4 days later … SURPRISE ! They charged us 1200€ for the damage on the front left bumper.
They sent us photo that we can see very clear there is no damage on the front left bumper ,
(Check the photos below)
In fact when we took the car , the right bumper is already broken.
So they tried to make us pay for the reparation of the broken bumper the right one.
We spent 3 days on the phone calls and emails. And we are ready to go further with the lawyer and even go on the TV or radio programs .
Finally they reimbursed our 1200€ and mentioned that it was an error 😡
So yes i can tell you don’t waste your holiday with this scammer company
Or if you have to the. Make sure to check the van carefully , makes video (pick up and drop condition of the van) ask the staff to sign
As of the card that you use as the deposit, contact your bank as soon as you got the van to make sure there is no final surprise
