Great course just outside Estepona

点评：Booked this at the last minute as were offered a discounted rate for 2x18H with a buggy. We weren’t disappointed. I’ve read so many reviews of golf courses, and people being negative, I only have postive things to say about Dona Julia . It’s only 10mins drive outside of Estepona, in a great location. We got a friendly welcome in the Pro Shop, got a great buggy, and the sun was shining . I actually think this course is walkable if you have the time. There’s a climb up on the 7th/8th hole. Some amazing views from the course, looking over the Alboran Sea. A good mix of short Par 3s and decent Par 4 and 5s. There was a little bit of ground maintenance going on as it’s the quiet season, but the staff were respectable ,and wasn’t an issue at all. We stopped for a beer at the clubhouse, and you can easily find a sunny or shady spot. The signage around the course could be improved a little, but honestly, your intuition will take you to the next tee . Enjoy your golf here, we will be back for sure ! ( we enjoyed this course more than the 3 Villa Padeirna courses we played earlier this week )
