Fantastic response to negative feedback

点评：This could have been a very different review. We booked and played the North Course at the end of June. Whilst there was a warning of work on greens and tees, nothing could prepare us for 80-90% of bunkers being out of play and scores of workers on the course, effectively rebuilding most of the bunkers. Those in play had weeds growing in them. It’s quite disturbing to have an excavator reversing as you address the ball on the tee.
They have 36 holes, it wasn’t busy, so these 18 holes could have been closed. We were very disappointed not to have been properly warned. At the end of the round we spoke with a lovely young lady who gave us the name and email of the golf director.
The outcome was Marisol offered us complimentary rounds which we took today. When I offered to pay for a buggy (we pushed the last time), they would not allow me to pay. We played the South Course, it’s narrow, it was windy and whilst providing a welcome cooling effect, it made it more difficult. It has some great views. The North Course is more open and will be really enjoyable to play once the work and finished.
The test of a business is how they respond when something goes wrong. The staff her were excellent. I cannot fault their response and desire to put it right. We will definitely be back.
