点评：There are several things to do in Key West that are truly unique to Key West and one of those is to celebrate the sunset every evening in Mallory Square. While Mallory Square is a part of Key West you can visit at any time, it comes alive about an hour before sunset through the sunset every evening. At least one night while you are in Key West you need to plan to visit and see a beautiful sunset.
We visited on our first night after dinner at Blue Heaven. The best thing to do is find out what time is sunset when you will be there and plan around it. While I would have rather eaten after the "Sunset Celebration", the only time I could get a reservation for 10 was 5:30. We were still able to easily get here to the square, see the handful of street performers and get a place where we could see the sunset.
I will say the street carnival could be your thing or not and the crowds can be large. However, nature does not disappoint. Sunsets over the water are amazing and Mallory Square, the westernmost part of the island, has the best sunset views. Even if crowds and carnivals aren't your thing, you will want to see the sunset here at least once on your trip. The pictures will prove it is that good. It is something you have to do when you visit Key West.
