Hangseshwari Temple的点评
点评：Around 60 km away from Kolkata, right at the heart of Hooghly, there is a temple of Maa Hangseshwari, a manifestation of Maa Kali.
The structure of the Hangseshwari temple significantly resembles the iconic St. Basil’s Cathedral of Moscow. Just like the Cathedral’s minarets with a spiral top, the Hangseshwari temple also has 13 minarets with closed lotus-look spiral heads.
Right beside the Hangseshwari mandir, you will see Ananta Basudev mandir, devoted to Ananta Basudev (Lord Krishna).
The temple is adorned by terracotta-designed architecture which reminisces the temples of Bishnupur.
Temple Timings:
The temples are open every day.
Timings:- 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM.
Devotees can offer Pujar dala to the goddess from 8:00 AM.
You can have Bhog on the temple premises, which is available from 1:00 PM. For the Bhog, you have to avail of coupons from the temple workers before 10:00 AM.
You must pay a visit to these temples at least once if you’re looking for a spiritual atmosphere and tranquilly in the midst of the hectic city life.
