点评：The whole day was catered around spearfishing and lobster hunting. If it had been advertised as “spearfishing tour/goliath grouper dive” instead of "goliath grouper/reef dive" on the web calendar, we would not have paid for this trip. They had guys going and shooting snappers in the midst of the goliath grouper aggregation, risking a conflict and disrupting the natural behavior we had all come to see.
Before we jumped, the dive master also told us we wouldn’t have much chance to encounter the resident sharks because they would probably be preoccupied with the fish being killed. We didn’t end up seeing the sharks, possibly because they were off following boats illegally fishing on or near the goliath grouper aggregation site. The captain spoke cordially to the poachers and didn’t call them out.
You could chalk it up to diving in Florida, but I’ve gone with four other shops now and never experienced anything like this. Imagine paying for a safari only to arrive and find that you're actually just tagging along for a trophy hunting expedition. Looking at these reviews, I see now that this is a hunting outfit, but I wish the shop had been clear that the grouper aggregation was just a pit stop and the primary objective of this charter was to kill wildlife before taking our money and putting us through this awful experience.
