Extremely disappointing - don’t waste your money!

点评：I wish I had read the reviews before I had booked a spa day with afternoon tea for my grown up daughter. How disappointing the day was!
The spa facilities seemed tired and lacking attention. There was no way of locking the lockers ( we were told to bring our own padlocks!) The plastic carton of water was empty so we had to go through to the reception to ask for a refill!
The massages were very different: luckily my daughter had a good experience but my masseur seemed to be inexperienced.
As for the afternoon tea … we were told that the latest it could be served was 3.15 pm so we accepted that time. Sadly, we were the only ones eating so there was no atmosphere and in a room with no windows to the outside. They’re missing a trick as the hotel has amazing views over the landscaped gardens - surely this would be a preferable venue?
We were not offered a choice of teas and only had one small teapot! No refills. The sandwiches and cakes were poor and when we asked for a box to take the left over cakes home, we were offered clingfilm!
I wrote ( email) the next day to offer constructive criticism but a week later have had no response so I now feel the need to give a Tripadvisor review.
