2 nights 3 days in the heart of Chobe National Park

点评：Day 1 started with a river game viewing safari on the majestic Chobe river. At first I was excited by a few water birds, but after an hour's journey up the river into the Chobe national park, there were elephants as far as the eye could see. Hundreds of elephants! Hippos, buffalo, nile crocodiles, monitor lizards, impalas in every direction. After the river safari we were taken by game drive vehicle to the min Chobe park entrance. We had our 2nd safari of the day and saw every other animal you can think of over the 5 hour trip. Over the course of the next 2 days we did another 4 big game drives that were just more and more spectacular each time. The list is long, but we saw lions with tiny cubs, a massive herd of sable antelope, zebras, jackals, giraffes, baboons, mongooses, blue wildebeest, buffalo, impalas, kudus, warthogs - you name it, we saw it. Our magnificent guide and animal spotter par-excellence was Mr T. So knowledgeable about every type of bird and animal. We learnt so much from him. The tented accommodation was perfect and comfortable. It's so wonderful to hear the sounds of Africa at night and wake up to the natural alarm clock of bird song. The chefs are master-chefs! Every meal was a culinary sensation, with freshly baked hot bread with every meal. I suggested that the chefs run a side-course in camp cooking and baking. I am sure there will be people interested. The whole tour was so professionally run. My husband and I had a magic time. I highly recommend Kalahari Tours. They will make your trip a dream come true.
