Whole day throwing! Great experience.

点评：Been wanting to try throwing for a while and finally had a free Saturday to try my hand at it. Booked a entire day, had planned to swap from throwing to hand building but loved throwing so much I stayed on the wheel the entire day. We started the day with a tutorial breaking it down and had I guidance through the first few pots then was let loose. We upped the amount of clay I was throwing later on so I could throw larger items. They let me know nearing the end of the day i had time to throw one more thing if i wanted to have time to glaze it. Which was great as i would have forgotten otherwise.
My main goal was to make a matcha bowl and I'm really happy with what i was able to produce with their help. Cant wait to pick it up in 4 weeks time, i just pray it survives the firing.
Overall, it was a really good day. I had unlimited clay to keep throwing and practicing. I'm now just waiting for the next time I can get my hand on a wheel and some clay.
