点评:We are a family of four from Singapore, and initially, we were quite skeptical about this tour. We only booked it to fill up our itinerary, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip!
Our guide, Charles, was absolutely fantastic. He shared so much knowledge and context about the history of the DMZ and The Third Tunnel, making the experience incredibly meaningful. Walking down the 358m tunnel was surreal—ending just 170m from North Korea at the blockade was a moment we will never forget.
That said, this tour might not be for everyone. The tunnel is narrow and requires a lot of bending, so if you have claustrophobia, weak knees, or blood pressure issues, it might be challenging. However, for those who can manage, the journey is worth it to see the original cave structure and learn firsthand about this significant part of history.
This tour is a must for history enthusiasts. It’s one thing to read about this in books or see it on TV or TikTok, but another to experience it in person. It’s a sobering reminder of the importance of peace—we sincerely wish no more lives are ever sacrificed to resolve these conflicts.
A big thank you to Charles for making this tour so memorable! We highly recommend joining his tour if you plan to visit the DMZ and The Third Tunnel.
