worth the (short) trip from Amsterdam

点评：The Hague is a modern city. It has its Old Town, like pretty much any European city, but it also has a vast section, modern sector. Worth seeing.
They kept Amsterdam, officially, the capital of the country, but it is obvious that, in reality, The Hague is the real political center of the land, on the national and international levels.
Therefore, they have deliberately left Amsterdam as "old", as authentic as possible, but they have built - or revamped - The Hague in a very serious way.
So, when you are visiting Amsterdam, visit also this city.
(We stayed 3 full days in Amsterdam.
And we found ample time to visit Amsterdam (complete tour bus + boat tour on the canals), multiple walks and strolls in the city, everything, to visit the botanical gardens of Keukenhof, The Hague and Rotterdam.
We did the circuit Amsterdam-Keukenhof-The Hague-Rotterdam-Amsterdam, in just one day. And we left Amsterdam at 11:00 am! And we just use Uber for our transportation - if you are a group of 3 or 4 persons, it is les expensive that any other means of transport. And much more convenient than the train or the bus. I assume that it should be the case also with taxis, if you can agree upon a fix price beforehand.)
