点评：We visited to see the gardens, but were also considering having a Thai meal in the restaurant. The woman in reception couldn't have been any more disinterested in having customers. She barely greeted us when we bought our entry tickets, and answered our enquiry about the restaurant hours by saying "it's open until 4pm". This is different to the hours stated on the website (dinner bookings 6pm and 8pm) and the printed menu we saw at our holiday accommodation. She didn't bother to ask if we wanted to book a table.
The gardens were very neglected - the Lady Garden was extremely overgrown with brambles hanging across the paths. As it was a hot day we were wearing shorts and T-shirts so ended up with numerous scratches to our arms and legs. The 'Waterfall Way' should be shut immediately as it's very overgrown, part of the boardwalk has collapsed and bits of the wire anti-slip netting have become detached creating a dangerous trip hazard. It seems that there is a serious problem with the management and maintenance of the site. The only positive aspect of our visit was the skywalk, but if the structure of this becomes as neglected as the other areas I dread to think what could happen.
