点评：My snorkeling trip to the Blue Lagoon in Bali unfortunately started on a sour note. Even the beach leading up to it was quite distressing, covered in a significant amount of plastic waste. It was disheartening to see so much pollution both on the sand and floating in the water. What struck me was the apparent lack of concern from those around, particularly the local people. No one seemed to be making an effort to clean up, and the floating debris in the water was simply ignored. I had hoped that the conditions would improve once I reached the Blue Lagoon itself. Sadly, this was not the case, and the situation there was certainly no better!
What made the experience even more unsettling was the sight of numerous tourists simply swimming in the busy lagoon, seemingly oblivious to the filth around them. Below the surface, divers were exploring, while just above their heads, more trash drifted along. It felt utterly disgusting and truly made me want to weep!I refused to enter the water amidst all the garbage and immediately asked to return.
I found it scandalous that they would dare to present this to tourists as a beautiful piece of nature – it felt like outright deception.
What was even more disheartening was that the local people and guides seemed completely unfazed by the situation and saw no need to clean anything up. It was truly regrettable and frankly, disgusting.
People should really stop visiting such places to send a clear signal to the people of Bali that they need to take care of their magnificent natural environment. As for me, I certainly won't be returning there!
