点评:This is a small museum, and can only be seen escorted by a tour guide. Ours was led by Darlene, who was informative and knew answers to all the questions! There are two rooms, the first is information and history, the second displays an assortment of inventions. The highlight being an opportunity to listen to an original phonograph. With several origins of the phrase "put a sock in it" this one, to mute the volume of the phonograph, it a fun one. The tour takes about an hour, but you can spend some additional time walking the grounds for a bit more history.
If you can, combine this with a visit to the T.E. National Historic Park, run by the US Park Service. It's about 20 -30 min. away. The two compliment each other with history and an extended look at Thomas Edison, his inventions and his personal life.

如果可以的话,可以结合参观美国公园管理局管理的 T.E. 国家历史公园。距离这里大约 20-30 分钟路程。这两个地方相互补充,既有历史,又可以深入了解托马斯·爱迪生、他的发明和他的个人生活。
