点评：We've visited the port associated with Auray many times over the last 40 years and always enjoyed it; there's a good mixture of bars, cafes, restaurants and artists in the various shops, coupled with a picture postcard view. Sadly, though, the latest visit may well be our last. I fear the good folk of Auray have joined the anti-tourist movement that seems to be a bit of a fashion amongst some holiday spots, notably perhaps in Spain but also in parts of France and even Wales. In two consecutive cafes we were studiously ignored, conspicuously so in one; no-one came to take our order, although the moment a group of Frenchmen and women appeared they were treated with notable welcome. To add to the sense of not being welcome, someone decided to 'key' our car whilst we were trying to get an elusive cup of coffee, although it was carefully parked in a bay that was free to all. We are French speaking, of mature years... and we've spent a lot of money in the town over the years. However, if the people of Auray no longer want tourist income or have a problem with the English, so be it. Give Auray and its port are not the easiest places to park in I would recommend you go elsewhere in Brittany. Vannes is more friendly.
