点评:Our visit to the cave experience was rather underwhelming. Paying 500 Vatu pp to walk into a cave and hold a torch for just a couple of minutes felt excessive.
We visited after enjoying the stunning top rock pools and viewpoint, which I highly recommend. In contrast, the cave tour seemed lacking. Essentially, a local lady shows you a cave with some water and provides a brief history lesson. The story is that the cave was discovered in the 1800s and was once used by the tribe for drinking water, though it no longer serves this purpose.
While it’s understandable that the fee supports the local tribe, the experience itself felt quite basic. The guide had her two children with her, and there were two kayaks in the cave, but we didn't venture into the second cave, which appeared to be the same size and likely no more impressive.
Unless you've never seen a cave before, this tour might not be worth it. It's more of a short, simple visit rather than an engaging or memorable experience.
