Late April disappointment.
Miharashi Park (Kosetsuen)的点评
点评：I had one day in Hakodate Port while on a cruise in Japan. Having researched the various options for my day, I chose to take the bus to this park for my morning based on the glowing reviews here on Trip Advisor.
I was surprised to find it is not a large park, and not as impressive as I had expected. Timing played a factor in this. Being the end of April, the maple trees had just begun to sprout leaves, tiny little leaves on mostly stark trees. The Wisteria was not even started. There were some cherry trees in blossom, but not a dazzling display. And, there were some daffodils in bloom in manicured beds, which seemed a bit out of place in the otherwise late winter landscape. Perhaps the maples in Fall are the attraction?
Overall, not much to see, and only a simple walk in a small-medium size park. I would not recommend.
