点评：Great trip. We arrived at approximately 8 am and made our way towards the entrance of the park. The park was huge, and contained multiple different parking lots, that were scattered throughout the park. We opted to hike two different trails in the park. We started our day by hiking the Gorge Overlook Loop, which was a roughly 1.4 mile loop trail around the park. The trail consisted of walking through a forest, with occasional views of the Mohican river. This trail was difficult in nature, as it contained multiple steep uphill and downhill sections. At one point we did have to climb a small ladder in order to stay on the trail. We were able to enjoy picturesque scenic views of the forest from above. The second trail we opted to hike was the Covered Bridge and Lyons Falls via Pleasant Hill, which was a roughly 2.3 mile loop trail around the park. This trail mostly took us through the forest as well, with the midpoint section of the trail containing a dam. There were multiple inclines and declines on this trail, along with several staircases. We were unable to see the waterfall due to the seasonal drought in the area. In between hiking these two trails, we opted to stop and explore the fire tower. We were able to climb up the steps of the fire tower, however the viewing platform was locked and we did not get the best views of the area. We also snapped some great pictures of the covered bridge and drove across it.
