A must visit activity in Chania!
Chania Diving Center的点评
点评：I went to Chania at the end of January for scuba diving. The diving center owner, Nikos, is quite the guy! We are both dive professionals and we could understand each other from the very beggining, what we wanted to do underwater and also what gear we will need. I wanted to have 2 dives but unfortunattely I had a backache after the first one so we canceled the second. The gear was very well maintained, the diving center was clean and everything was in place.
Nikos took me for diving near the place I lived around 10 years ago - Agios Onoufrios. We visited a system of caverns and the seal cave. I was equiped with a Diver Propulsion Vehicle and twin tanks which made the dive extraordinary! We were able to reach the diving spot from the shore in less than 10 minutes without any sign of exhaustion.
Upon entering the first cavern, I switched off my camera - I didn't want to miss a thing. The scenery was absolutly astonishing! The light entering the caverns from the top created amazing colours and moments to remember! Seal cave was a great experience as well. Nikos took care of the photos and videos along the dive and allowed me to enjoy every bit of the dive!
Upon returning to the dive center, I had a special tour in the dive center, we discussed about underwater photography, cave diving and CCR systems - he is instructor for these specialties and I really learned a lot that day.
I really liked the whole experience and I plan to return for other dives as well.
