A fantastic, unique experience
Stump Cross Caverns的点评
点评：My husband and I had a lovely time visiting Stump Cross Caverns this week. We booked a time slot in advance and were the only people going down at that time, so it wasn't crowded at all.
The person we spoke to before going down gave us a map and told us all about what's best to look out for, and the history of the place. He said he'd only worked there a few months, but was really knowledgeable and enthusiastic which added to the experience also.
It's fantastic whilst down there - we went just before 3pm so we could see some of the cave in the light before the lights were turned off and we used UV torches. Both views were magical.
It's definitely slippery in places and there's lots of crouching needed, so perhaps not a good idea for any super tall or unsteady people, but we had a really lovely time and spent about an hour in there.
Before we went down, we had lunch at the cafe and honestly everything tasted delicious. I had the chorizo and cheese panini and my husband had the meat focaccia pizza and both were really lovely. We then shared some tiffin after. It was fantastic quality food and we were really surprised considering it's a small business. The plates were cute too! And the toilets were clean.
Overall we had a fantastic visit and would highly recommend a visit to anyone round that way.
