Puning Hot Spring的点评
点评：Don't go if you're solo or in a couple. Make reservations. No party's less than 3 or 4 they said. I would have had to wait for hours asking other groups to do the site with them which makes for an unpleasant experience.
Terrible business model. No price menu on their website which is...a Facebook page. The price wasn't an issue. They only accepted cash. Bring many thousand bill peso notes with you as the owner operates wads of change from her purse.
It's just outside a seedy, poor windy, exhausting stop-and-go character-if-anything shanty town, so enjoy the sad ambiance in and out of the complex. If you like using Grab cars to save a bit off the back end, you can go in, but prepare to use a blue taxi to get out of there, since Grab drivers won't huddle the neighborhood.
There is no 4G/5G internet strength at the site, so you must use their wifi which is sketchy at best. Your belongings are "secured" in a personal plastic bag on their office shelves in the waiting room. That doesn't seem very secure. i.e. they have change rooms and showers, but no locker room.
Other than that, enjoy your stay. Wished I could have done the same as other customers, but their service infrastructure is clearly their Achilles Heel. They make a mint off everyone here and there's no competition. I doubt if allowing smaller groups when they have to pay almost $100 more per person would kill their business to hire two tandem jeeps to the hot springs. Hugely disappointing.
