Golden triangle and Wildlife Trip

点评：We booked a three week trip, extended Golden Triangle and three National Parks, via Times India Travels. I chose Vijay based on the positive reviews on TA and his website and we had no cause to regret that decision as all the arrangements, down to the smallest detail, worked out really well.
Initially Vijay suggested an itinerary based on our interests. I then tweaked it to include an overnight train and whilst this was fine I think we would have been better off with Vijay’s initial suggestions. Moral of the story - trust the travel agents who live there and make travel arrangements every day.
Vijay and his colleague Nauri met us at our first hotel where we completed the payment and they kept in touch throughout the trip. Unfortunately my husband was ill for 4 days and I worried that we might have to rearrange the latter part of the trip. Vijay and Nauri visited us in Agra to check that all was ok and to reassure me that plans could be changed at the last minute if necessary. That was not needed but I found their visit very reassuring.
Himmat, our driver for the the first 13 days, was an excellent steady driver as well as being calm, professional, friendly, punctual and knowledgable. We considered ourselves lucky to have him. We also had a guide for the day in the five cities we visited and all were very nice and well informed.
