Lovely big sandy beach
West Wittering Beach的点评
点评：I've visited this beach at different times of the year, parking is priced differently according to the season and is cheaper if you pre-book. Although parking can be expensive they have built new toilet blocks over the winter which are much bigger and better than before and they are improving the road.
Dogs aren't allowed on the main beach between May and September but are allowed on the beach at the far end all year round.
Traffic is mental and the beach is very busy on hot summer days so just be prepared.
There is a cafe and coffee/ice cream shop. Life guards are present, but not all year round.
The beach is big, lovely and sandy, but be aware that the sea often has strong currents. Every year I read on the news that someone has unfortunately lost their life going for a swim. It's very tidal so at low tide you have a fair walk to the sea.
