点评：DON'T EXTERN HERE! The facility is in dire need of new ownership. Until the internal issues are fixed, I would suggest externing somewhere else. Also, management needs a serious attitude adjustment.
Edit: I'd like to include specifics. Externs are required to climb an extended tractor arm, approximately 10 feet high, to throw meat into enclosures, which raises safety concerns. Additionally, work hours are not properly tracked, and externs are expected to work 7 days a week with shifts lasting 10-12 hours. There also seemed to be a lack of necessary supplies to perform tasks efficiently. There was also a situation where one of the workers accidently released a big cat because they were so overworked and probably emotionally exhausted. The big cat escaped, and was not recovered. As a result, they fired everyone involved and have yet to rehire and are severely understaffed to this day. While the mission of animal care is commendable, I believe improvements in safety protocols, proper scheduling, and adequate equipment would greatly benefit both the externs and the organization
