点评：These are rare, exquisite wines, not just another winery to come and have alcohol. I find the staff pleasant, engaging but also rather serious about their product. There is very small production here and i have seen complaints of the cost of a tasting. If you are fortunate enough to access wines for tasting from the best, small producers, you will pay for it, I saw the comparison to Phelps/Insignia - they make 20k bottles a year od Insignia and the Lark, similarly priced is but 1200 and while not as widely-exposed and "popular", I will prefer it known or blind every time as it achieves.
Tasting, yes - but you can also take wines home to experience the wines under circumstances other than palate fatigue. Do not make this your third winery in a row, they make subtle, classically-inspired wines, not for the taste of the masses. They only offer 5 - 6 red wines, each its own entity and really not for immediate consumption for most of their customers. If this is your first experience buy a couple of bottles, take them home and have them after 6-8 weeks. Honestly, other than the wines you can buy in the Safeway, it is what you should do.
I love these wines and the people here, a little bit of old Napa. So deserving of a 5
