The wine was transported in weather of 38-40c in an uninsulated van, when they could have contacted me and suggested delivery at a later time (the following week) when weather was cooler (as did another wine merchant) or they could have used a van that was insulated or had air con - I had paid extra for delivery. They had also agreed to try to include the side of a wooden box with the name of the wine and vintage for my wine cellar wall, but this did not arrive. On delivery I emailed them about both matters in French but received no reply. I have now finished the wine. One bottle had a double seal because there was problem with the cork, two corks broke when extracted and one bottle was bad. I had stored the wine on its side in a temperature controlled wine cellar cooler.
