Very interesting, even if you don’t love motor sports

点评：Our daughter is a huge fan of Formula One so when we arrived in Bologna and she realised that Imola was relatively close, she was straight on the website looking at the tours. There were only two places left for the time we were in Bologna so my husband offered to miss out. However, it was a nice sunny Spring day so he had a pleasant stroll in the park, taking in the Ayrton Senna memorial and going to the viewpoint overlooking the track. Before and after our tour, there were Ferraris and Porsches practicing and/or racing so that was interesting to watch.
The tour was interesting, even to someone like me who has no interest in motor sports.
The public transport from Bologna wasn’t easy to figure out but I found the app Rome2Rio most helpful. I guess it depends on where you are staying in Bologna and how you are with walking but we found that the 101 bus was the easiest for us with a 30 minute walk to the circuit in Imola. It was only 2.30 EUR each way per person for an hours journey.
All in all, a nice interesting day.
