点评：We had an incredible two-hour trek at Northfields Farm to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. She’s an experienced rider, while I had never been on a horse before – yet the experience catered perfectly to both of us.
The ride was brilliantly led by Elizabeth and Lauren, who made sure everyone in our mixed-ability group of nine felt confident and included. Their professionalism and warmth really stood out, and they made sure we were all comfortable and safe throughout.
I was amazed to be riding a rising trot within 20 minutes, thanks to their clear instruction and support. Meanwhile, my girlfriend was thrilled to be given the opportunity to enjoy a short canter when the group briefly split – a lovely touch that made the day even more special for her.
The horses were wonderful – friendly, calm, and clearly well cared for. I felt completely at ease thanks to them and our guides.
And the location? Simply breathtaking. The views across Derbyshire, Cheshire, and Staffordshire were spectacular and added a real sense of adventure to the trek.
Highly recommended for all riding abilities – whether you’re brand new like me or a seasoned rider. A perfect gift or experience for any horse lover!
