点评:My wife and I just returned from Marrakech last night, and it was incredible. We are a retired couple from the Pacific Northwest, and the alarming reviews made us nervous in advance. The main thing I want to share is that the fear mongering is so much horse____. The Berber and Arab people we interacted with during our 8-day stay were exceptionally warm and engaging. When we travel in Europe the people are very nice, yes, but it all seems so transactional. In Morocco, when we were interacting with the Moroccans it was like they really cared and were interested in our stories (and we theirs). And the second time you saw a person, the next day perhaps, it was like a reunion! Smiles and handshakes. while we bought almost nothing, we spent parts of four days in the markets of Marrakech. My advice, Please don't use a guide in the market, just go in your self (like the thousands of other European tourists do) and ask questions, compliment things you like. You will love the experience, and wish you could have such warm and happy shopping experiences back home. There was nothing sketchy about it. The people are the greatest thing about Morocco.
