Gala Theatre Durham的点评
点评：Under-appreciated cinema and really needs more people to visit.
As a family we love movie nights but on a budget cannot justify the big venues. Durham Gala has two screens with a handful of screenings each day. Both are smaller than the big places which is absolutely fantastic for smaller children and those with social related needs.
It’s like being at home but with a much bigger screen.
There is a lift down to the cinema however it has been in and out of service due to maintenance. There are quite a few stairs to descend and then ascend afterwards.
Affordability wise top 10. Family 3 to watch a movie and have either hotdog or popcorn with a drink is £30. £5 each for ticket and £5 each for the meal deal. That’s around same price for one ticket at the larger venues.
Closest parking is the multi-storey behind the premier inn / champagne bar.
