桂离宫的点评
点评：We had made the compulsory reservation three weeks before our trip. We had followed the instructions and tried to be there 20 minutes before the official start of our visit. To be on the safe side, we were actually there 40 minutes before. There were banks outside and, fortunately, the day was not very cold.
The visit, about 50 minutes, takes you around the beautiful gardens of the villa and allows you to see the interior of a couple of pavillons from the exterior.
The guided tour was in Japanese, but we had audio-guides in English and the guide added here and there some comments in English for us (I believe we were the only non Japanese in the group).
We went there with a taxi and we were lucky enough to find an empty one after our visit. This is something that should be previously organized.
But the villa is really something worth seeing.
