点评:The fort overlooking the canyon and the gorge are absolutely stunning. But just putting up an ASI board stating that it is a protected monument does not ensure that it is actually protected. There is through traffic that goes through the fort, there is graffiti all over and overgrowth and crumbling facade with trash strewn everywhere makes it difficult to enjoy.
Same is the case with the canyon. Plastic litter and broken glass left behind by the campers means that the beautiful view of the Gandikota canyon is marred by trash again.
AP tourism charges an entry fee to this place but does nothing to maintain it. Something needs to be said about the civic sense of people too as we saw bus loads of people come visit and leave behind their garbage on the rocks.
What is an amazing natural site is let down by humans.
