Disappointing experience
The National 1798 Rebellion Centre的点评
点评：Extremely disappointing experience. Didn’t open until 12 noon which seems very late. Exhibition very difficult to read throughout. Spotlights not turned on at all. The print is put over dark pictures and with poor lighting, impossible to read much of the material. Only one audio visual element was working in the whole exhibition, and buttons on smaller audiovisual units broken or absent, and headsets missing. Now when we read reviews we see this has all been an issue for some months.
One area was in complete darkness, completely black and we had to use phone torches to make our way through two rooms, which posed huge health and safety issues, particularly as one of us was using a stick.
At that point we left. We did tell staff at front desk about the issues in the hope that they might rectify them before next visitors came.
The front office staff asked us if we wanted to go around again but at that stage we had a train to catch.
I rarely write reviews, but feel so strongly about the poor quality of this experience that I had to say something.
