AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Abysmal service

点评：Echoing a number of previous damning reviews regarding the Chania City bus tour .
We were staying in Chania for one day , so booked this tour to allow us to see all of the city and various sights .
We have used similar “ hop on / hop off “ bus tours in numerous other cities , all of which were excellent .
Sadly , not the case with this tour .
Summary
Tour was for x12 stops - we only did circa x6 stops , having waited for day 45 mins for the bus to set off.
Bus commentary was unsuitable - as it was pretty much inaudible , and did not reflect the actual stops we attended .
We made suitable complaint to bus driver and ticket seller during / after our tour . Ticket seller advised that as it was Saturday tour , local markets blocked streets on Saturdays , so full x12 stops was not possible . We advised , that this should be advertised / informed before tickets sold on a Saturday , as had it been , we would not have spent Euros 34 on the tour . We asked for refund and were advised “ tough “ , and to take it up with our bank if we were unsatisfied . Very evident that ticket sellers are “ commission based “ and they are there to sell tickets , and are not concerned with service itself.
Although only modest Euros 34 involved - as matter of principle , w have asked our bank to review the payment and reclaim if possible.
