Natural History Museum of Maastricht的点评
点评：This building and its contents are lovely. If you do not speak Dutch please be warned that like 80% of the museum is presented only in Dutch. However there are many ancient history artifacts to explore, a wide variety of taxidermy animals and insects, and a Mosasaurus exhibit that is nicely done.
As Americans that have visited many Natural History and Science Museums, we loved that several exhibits paid tribute to their artists and researchers. The museum really pays attention to the work that goes into an exhibit and we adored this element.
It was my 18-year old teenager and I, and we spent about 2.5 hours here. Don’t skip the outdoor garden as it’s serene and you can often enjoy music from across the river where music students are practicing.
There were a couple staircases required but I did not pay attention to if/where the lifts might be located. Very hands-on friendly for youngsters too!
