点评:We visited Prem Mandir on an excursion from Agra. Arriving after sundown, the temple was illuminated with colorful lights; but, we weren't sure what was the occasion. The crowd's energy was infectious.
Footwear had to removed to walk around the temple. And, the brilliant lights really were quite a sight.
Upon returning to where we left our shoes, my partner's hiking boots, (US size 12), were gone. We searched the area; but, alas, they were AWOL.
[AND, earlier that day, a monkey stole my eyeglasses--while I was still wearing them! The critter probably scoped me from afar, jumped on my back, and grabbed my glasses right off my face. It happened so fast, it took me a second to realize that they were gone].
In hindsight, the stolen shoes and eyeglasses now seem a little funny. A bit of thievery in the town of Vrindavan.
