The museum is based in his previous home so an interesting feature is the green bathroom with bathtub, considered quite luxurious in his days. The museum houses most of his extensive writing.
Because of his initials WEB, the symbol of DuBois is the spider web with a central core and all people and projects extending out with central unity. Several places in the community utilize the spider web motif in textiles and decor.
