点评：If you’re heading to Bangkok, the Grand Palace is absolutely one of those places you have to see. It’s stunning, historic, and just packed with incredible detail everywhere you look—from glittering gold spires to beautifully painted murals and intricately carved statues. Even if you’re not usually into history or architecture, this place will leave you amazed.
Getting there is pretty easy. I took the MRT and got off at Sanam Chai station, then grabbed a tuk-tuk for about 100 baht to the entrance. It’s a short ride and part of the experience! Just a heads-up though: watch out for friendly-looking scammers near the area who might tell you the palace is closed for a special event or suggest you visit a floating market instead. It’s a common trick—don’t fall for it. The palace is almost always open during its regular hours.
Entrance is 500 baht per person, and there’s a strict dress code: both men and women need to wear long pants and cover their shoulders. I saw a few tourists turned away or rushing to buy or rent clothes nearby, so it’s best to come prepared.
